We are really proud of the team here at Bean Oak. Everyone including the reception team and nurses are dedicated to making your visit a great experience. It’s a local team that’s been together for years and love getting to know our patients really well.
All our dentists and clinical staff are highly skilled and experienced and they actively continue their professional development by attending post graduate courses on a regular basis.
Dr Zaki Anwar BDS
Zaki qualified from Guys Hospital, London in 2001 and is the owner of Bean Oak Dental Care. Born and raised in Reading, Zaki has 15 years experience of general family practice. A bubbly and fun loving character, Zaki hopes to make coming to see your dentist a pleasant and comfortable experience. Zaki sees a variety of patients including Private, NHS & Denplan.
Dr Anwar is registered with the General Dental Council (GDC No 80255).
Dr Matt Golightly BDS
Matt qualified from Kings College, London in 1993. After a couple of years working in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Kings and St George’s Hospital in London, he moved to general practice in 1995. He has been working and living locally for the last 21 years, and has been based at Bean Oak since 2010.
Matt has had postgraduate training in implantology from the Royal College of Surgeons, London. Matt also has extra qualifications in multiple advanced treatments, including adult orthodontics, sedation, and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
Matt has a reputation as a competent and skilled practitioner who always strives to excel in caring for his patients. This is evidenced by most of his new patients being recommended by existing patients.
Matt is registered with the General Dental Council (GDC No 69698).
Rachel Bennett RDH - Hygienist
Rachel is our highly skilled hygienist with over 26 years experience in general practice. Rachel has lived in Wokingham for 15 years and has been with us at Bean Oak for the last 8. With her vast experience in treating children, implant patients, orthodontic patients and, most importantly, nervous patients, Rachel prides herself in understanding her patients concerns and will ensure that your visit is as pain free as possible. Regular visits to the hygienist help prevent dental disease and Rachel will advise you and recommend products to help achieve this. Rachel has a very positive attitude and will by no means lecture you or ‘tell you off’! Rachel works Mondays to Fridays and one Saturday every month. Rachel has great enthusiasm for her work and continues to build fantastic rapport with her patients.
In her spare time, she enjoys horse riding, walking, interior design, cooking (making sushi) and spending time with her teenage son!
