Non-surgical facial treatments:
You deserve to look and feel great! We can through non-surgical facial treatment give you that helping hand. We help you achieve a softened and younger appearance by using the very latest products and techniques. A substance called Botulinum Toxin is used e.g. Azzelure® or Botox®. It is a very straight forward procedure which can easily be fitted into your busy schedule. A very fine needle is used to gently inject the Botulinum Toxin into the areas where it is needed. It is virtually a painless procedure and full effects of your treatment can be seen after 5-10 days and will last up to 4 months.
We treat most frequently the wrinkles on the forehead, frowning lines and “laughter lines” around the eyes but there are many ways that Botulinum Toxin can help you achieve a more youthful appearance.

Treatment for lines around the lips and nose area
Lines around the mouth area can make you appear older than what you are and feel. You can feel more confident about your appearance when you enhance the shape and fullness of your lips. We can treat this with a gel-like product which, after the application of a local anaesthetic cream, is injected into the borders of the lip, body of the lip and creases around the mouth as needed. You see the results instantly and the effects last 6-12 months.

1. What is Botulinum Toxin?
Botulinum Toxin (BTX) is a type of purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. It has been used over 25 yrs, it is very safe and is injected directly into facial muscles in very tiny amounts during treatment.
2. How does it work?
BTX blocks the transmission of nerve impulses to the facial muscles that have been injected. This makes the muscle less active and therefore smoothes and softens the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
3. Will I experience any discomfort during treatment?
As said before, the treatment is virtually pain free and a very small amount of people experience some slight form of discomfort whilst being treated, but that is all.
4. How often will I need treatment?
Every face is unique and we will discuss the results you would like to achieve and how many treatments you are likely to need. In most cases a real difference can be seen 5-10 days after the first treatment. BTX gradually softens and reduce wrinkles up to 4 months after treatment.
5. Would I need to take any time off work following my treatment?
After BTX treatment you will have a little redness which will subside after a few hours. Following dermal filler injections of the mouth and nose to mouth area you might experience some redness, mild bruising and swelling so you might wish to take the day off work. The gel itself has local anaesthetic agents inside which help reduce any discomfort during treatment. Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature and resolve within a few days.
