Dental Check-ups

Our philosophy is that your teeth should last you your lifetime and having regular Dental Checkups ensure that they do.

When you join us as a new patient you will fill out a full medical history questionnaire before you meet your dentist. In the surgery your dentist will discuss with you your expectations, wants and needs and will ask you about your previous dental history.

This will be followed by a thorough dental examination, soft tissue evaluation, periodontal condition recording and oral cancer screening. Digital X-rays will be taken where necessary together with intra-oral photos to help you understand any treatment needed after diagnoses by the dentist.

Your dentist will give you the necessary information and education to enjoy a beautiful and healthy smile for years to come. Together with the dentist you will create a treatment plan to best meet your needs. Your treatment plan will be printed off and a copy will be given to you to take home.
