Dental Implants
By using dental implants is one way of replacing a missing tooth. A titanium implant will be planted into the jawbone to support the replacement tooth. It acts like a root. An implant can also support bridges and dentures.
All our implants are placed onsite by a fully qualified and highly experienced dentist.
Dr. Matt Golightly qualified in 1993 from Kings College London. He was then successful in being accepted for one of the surgical posts with Kings and St Georges. During this time valuable experience was gained in oral surgery as well as treating nervous patients using sedation techniques. From there he went into general practice to become an accomplished general dentist.
Having placed his first implant in 1998, Matt’s repertoire has grown from simple cases involving single teeth to include full mouth cases, bone grafts and cases where cosmetics are crucial.
Matt has trained extensively in the field, most notably with the Royal College of Surgeons. He is a member of the UK’s premier implant association – the Association of Dental Implantology UK. He updates his knowledge as often as possible with various courses, mainly through the Association.
If you are thinking of having implants to replace any teeth that are missing, Matt would be happy to see you free-of-charge to discuss the possibilities that are open to you.
Therefore there is no need to go anywhere else for your implant treatment. Sedation is also available for those patients who find it difficult to relax whilst having invasive treatment like implants.
