Q: My gums bleed when I brush them. Should I be worried?
A: Bleeding gums could be the first indicator of gum disease due to plaque build up around the gums. We would advise that you come in and see us for a check up.
Q: Are Dental X-rays safe?
A: Exposure to all sources of radiation, including the sun, minerals in the soil, appliances in your home, and dental X-rays, can damage the body’s tissues and cells. Fortunately, the dose of radiation you are exposed to during the taking of dental X-rays is extremely small.
