We are really proud of the team here at Bean Oak
Everyone including the reception team and nurses are dedicated to making your visit a great experience. It’s a local team that’s been together for years and love getting to know our patients really well.
All our dentists and clinical staff are highly skilled and experienced and they actively continue their professional development by attending post graduate courses on a regular basis.
Jenna Masey, Practice Manager
Jenna is our practice manager at Bean Oak Dental Care, and has been working within dentistry for the past 16 years.
She started off as a dental nurse in 2004, where she qualified and gained the National Certificate NEBDN.
Jenna enjoys long nature walks in the countryside and painting landscapes in her spare time, as well as restoring her campervan alongside her partner.
Dr Zaki Anwar BDS
Zaki qualified from Guys Hospital, London in 2001 and is the owner of Bean Oak Dental Care. Born and raised in Reading, Zaki has 15 years experience of general family practice. A bubbly and fun loving character, Zaki hopes to make coming to see your dentist a pleasant and comfortable experience. Zaki sees a variety of patients including Private & Denplan.
Dr Anwar is registered with the General Dental Council (GDC No 80255).
Dr Abhishek Bhardwaj BDS
Abhishek qualified in 2008 from Queen Mary’s University London and has since been awarded a Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has a keen interest in the latest innovations in dentistry helping provide a range of treatments in a gentle and caring manner.
Having a progressive preventative approach, Abhishek looks to understand an individual’s need and tailor their treatment accordingly. With a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, offering treatments such as Crowns, Veneers, Teeth whitening and Invisalign® Go.
He enjoys taking part in a patient’s journey of enhancing the appearance of their teeth. In keeping up to date with regular post graduate courses he feels he is in a position to pass on the latest dental advice.
Dr Rujuta Deshpande BDS
Dr Rujuta Deshpande is one of our dentists and works at Bean Oak on Fridays.
She has a special interest in Implant dentistry, Smile designing, Clear aligners/ Invisalign and Preventative dentistry. This has proven to benefit her patient’s dental health and confidence.
Her calm, composed and organised nature reflects in her work specially when she is treating nervous patients.
With over 15 years of experience, Rujuta has undergone extensive training in the field of Implants and Cosmetic dentistry.
She maintains a great work-life balance and loves spending time with her family and little one. She also enjoys playing Violin and travelling.
Marie Lawson RDH
Some of you may remember Marie as she has worked part time at Bean Oak Dental Care previously. We are excited to have her back as part of the Bean Oak family.
Marie will be working Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Marie qualified from Guys Hospital and aims to provide a gentle, yet thorough hygiene service. (GDC number 5379)
Jennifer Hagan, Dental Hygiene
Komala Ganessan, Dental Nurse
Komala is one of our qualified dental nurses and joined the Bean Oak team in 2021.
Komala has undertaken implant training and works Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.
In her spare time Komala enjoys nature, travelling and listening to music.
Maryam Moazamigoudarzi, Dental Nurse
Maryam is one of our qualified dental nurses and has been part of the Bean Oak family for over 4 years.
Maryam is trained in implant nursing and works fridays.
Maryam loves cooking and enjoys running and watching films with her children and her husband at the weekends.
Sadie Thatcher, Dental Nurse
Sadie is one of our experienced dental nurses.
She joined Bean Oak in 2021 and works 4 days a week.
In her spare time Sadie likes walking, reading, cooking, gardening & spending time with my grand daughter & family.
Heidi Ku, Trainee Dental Nurse
Heidi is our trainee dental nurse. She joined us in February and came to the UK from Hong Kong.
We are super proud of Heidi who has had to adapt to a fresh environment, master a new language, build new friendships as well as train to be a nurse.
She is a real asset to our team and has the best attitude to continuous learning.
Lisa Read, Practice Receptionist
Lisa is one of our lovely receptionists. She trained as a dental nurse many years ago and is now back in the surgery as part of the reception team!
Lisa joined Bean Oak in November 2022 and has really enjoyed getting to know our patients.
In her spare time She enjoys days out with the her family, exploring new places and long walks.
Jess Hill, Practice Receptionist
Jess is one of our lovely receptionists. She gained her qualification as a Dental Nurse when she left school and joined us in November 2022.
Mum to two teenage children, she enjoys days out at the beach, walks by the river and coffee shops with her family and french bulldog, as well as evenings out with friends. Make sure to say hi when you come in!
